Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of customer equipment in a field environment while maintaining an acceptable level of productivity and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Promptly, at start of shift, review work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled.
· Determine the technical or physical status of the equipment requiring service.
· Verify findings, review readings of test equipment and compare to manufactures specifications.
· Prepare a plan to correct the problem consulting with co-workers, supervisor or TC’s when necessary.
· Look-Up, order and obtain parts to complete repairs in a timely manner.
· Install, replace, re-build or repair the parts and/or equipment in a timely manner and according to manufactures specifications.
· Test the part or equipment and perform quality check after work is complete.
· Complete scheduled maintenance on customer equipment as assigned.
· Perform general housekeeping duties including van cleanliness.
· Complete all required paperwork after every job.
· Works to ensure departmental compliance with all safety and contamination control guidelines.
· Maintains productivity at 85%

Requirements:
General Qualifications:
· Must be US citizen or legal alien.
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Must read, write, communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations.
· Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
Education:
Must have earned a High School Diploma, or a GED
Work Experience:
- Work experience in the industry is a plus but, is not a requirement
- Candidates must have basic knowledge and understanding of Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems and Internal Combustion Engines.
